You need to focus on both your rotator cuff muscles and scapular stabilizing muscles. Its tricky to describe exactly these exercises in words so I would strongly recommend you see a physical psychiatric therapist once or twice to be educated on exercises to strengthen these muscles. They can adjectives be done in a gym but most personal trainers own insufficient knowledge to edify you on these exercises.
I would advise you to use guardedness. I separated my shoulder playing hockey a few years back. I elected not to hold surgery then, it be a 50-50 deal. A year and 1/2 ago, I did it again, waterskiing. Then ending month, playing hockey, again, I did it up real discouraging. I just have surgery to repair my separation, a torn rotator cuff, and a torn biceps muscle.
The doctor said it was the certainty that I didn't repair it the first time, that lead to it one weak that allowed the subsequent injuries to evolve.
I will be starting rehab in 4 weeks. It have been two weeks since surgery, and I enjoy been strapped to a shoulder sling since consequently, and will be for another 6 weks.
Be careful, own yourself checked out, don't let what happen to me happen to you! It friggin hurts!
Stevo.
